We recommend storing the hemp milk in glass to avoid any toxicity from plastic.
– 1 Cup of Hemp Seeds
– 750ml Still Spring Water
– 2 Dates to Sweeten (Optional)
Method
The method is really simple and only takes around 10 minutes to make.
1- Add the Hemp Seeds and Spring Water to the blender (and dates if used as a sweetener).
2- Blend on a high setting until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
(Blending for 1-2 minutes is usually sufficient).
3- Take an empty storage container, hold the milk bag or cheesecloth over the container.
4- Pour the milk mixture from the blender into the milk bag or cheesecloth so that the milk liquid drains through to the new container.
5- The remanence of the hemp seed shells left in the blender can be disposed of in compost or the trash.
6- Store the hemp milk in a glass jar in the refrigerator and use it within 3-4 days.
