And to top off a day of indulgence, you can wind down at the Gatekeeper’s Day Spa on site. An exclusive Jurlique approved spa, you can succumb to the exceptional sojourn of wellness through many different spa rituals – each of which can be tailored to you.

Mount Loft House and Estate must not be missed when you’re in the Adelaide Hills.

2. Golding Wines

Did you know that the Adelaide Hills is actually South Australia’s oldest wine region? It dates back to the late 1830s early 1840s – when John Barton Hack planted European cuttings of Syrah and Grenache and eventually established a commercial vineyard that produced wines and sold cuttings of vines to help other locals become growers too.

So, when you’re in the area, it’s only fitting that you taste some of the local drop. A favorite winemaker of the region is Golding Wines.

What we love about Goldings is the huge variety on offer, including Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay – you can enjoy their wine varieties during a tasting where you can learn more about the region and how the wines are made.

Trust us, you’ll find it hard to leave without grabbing a bottle or two on your way out.

3. Villeta Porcini

Enjoy the unique and intimate dining experience of Villetta Porcini. With the backdrop of a European-style stone hut in gardens that are full of vegetables and porcini mushrooms, you will be able to fully understand their appreciation of excellent produce.

Catering for only 20 guests at a time, you will be greeted by Andre Usini, the talented chef, who will regale you with tales of the produce and philosophy behind the rural simplicity of Villeta Porcini.

If you’re a lover of food and of unique dining experiences – this one is a must do in the Hills.

4. Jurlique Farm

We mentioned Jurlique briefly before, but did you know that the botanical farm of the world-famous skincare brand is in the Adelaide Hills?

This is where the flowers, herbs and other botanicals are grown that have helped to develop the stunning skin care products of Jurlique.
You can enjoy a behind the scenes tour of the biodynamic farm where you will learn about the incredible nature and scientific combination of the brand.

And if you need to top up on your favorite Jurlique products, you can do so here as well.
