Mykonos is most famous for its beaches. They are beautiful and in abundance, 25 in total. If you are a partygoer, you will love Paradise and Super Paradise beaches as they are crowded with clubs. If you are a windsurfing enthusiast, Ftelia is a must place for you to visit. Strong winds make surfing extremely fun. Since the area is mostly a secluded even in the busiest part of the year, Ftelia is a peaceful beach to enjoy a summer evening. Like most of Mykonos, it is also touched by history and has the tomb of the Ajax the Locrian, leader of Locrian in the Trojan War.

If you want to enjoy the evening in a historical setting, you should go to Castle Panigirakis which is located on a small hill and offers a fantastic sight of the sunset. To cap off your day, you should try some traditional cuisines such as Kopanisti, Ksinotiti and Tirovolia. These cheese delicacies will leave you with a beautiful aftertaste.
